Kiehl's Launches the Ginger Leaf and Hibiscus Mask in a Night of Indulgence

When Kiehl's invited me for a product launch, I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew it would be extravagant for sure, but I was still totally mind blown when I got there. We were surprisingly treated to a night of total pampering and indulgence. The event was held at no other than Okada Manila's 420sqm luxurious Presidential Suite which was filled with fresh flowers making each corner Instagram-able.

Wine-colored robes for the guests

I didn't wanna leave this bed!

Guests were clad in wine-colored silk robes to complete the slumber party look. We were actually asked to don pajama chic looks, but the robes definitely took our ootd to the next level. To make us more comfy and relaxed, we got to lounge in the suite's one king and two queen-sized Terry cotton beds covered in luxurious Rivolta Carmignani Italian linens and feather down pillows. I swear I didn't wanna leave the suite that night!

Meet Mr. Bones

The dining area was transformed into a socials area where guests got to enjoy food and cocktails especially made by Okada for the event. The dessert section was one stop that I surely enjoyed. Not only are the sweets pleasing to look at, they also tasted awesome. I am pretty sure everyone enjoyed the private bar too where free flowing rosé was served. 

As one of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Kiehl’s gave back to the women farmers of its Ginger Leaf

A station was dedicated to the new product's sustainably-sourced ginger leaf extract, which is grown and collected by local women in Hoa Binh and Bắc Giang province of Vietnam. Kiehl's take pride in giving back to the community by providing education on sustainable and environmental friendly farming techniques to local farmers to improve their work conditions and strengthen their revenues. 

Essential oil mixing station was a hit among bloggers

One station that I truly enjoyed was the essential oil mixing station. There were four pre-mixed essential oils selection to choose from which were specially blended by blogger Jirbie for the Kiehl's event. I chose the Sweet Serenity variant which I now enjoy at home as a soothing and calming room spray.  

Complimentary skin consultations and product recommendations with Kiehl's customer representative

The greatest revelation for me that night happened during my skincare consultation with Kiehl's customer representative. All this time I thought I had oily skin because I've been breaking out lately. After the skin patch test, I found out that I have normal to dry and dehydrated skin. What I love most about the skincare consultation is that they would recommend which products you could use based on your skincare type and ultimate skincare goals.

To complete our night of indulgence, we were introduced to the Ginger Leaf and Hibiscus Firming Mask. This leave-on mask is formulated for all skin types and is infused with two nature-powered ingredients.
