I know Tagaytay, by itself, as one magical place that people from the city could frequent since it is near Manila and it offers a breathtaking view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. However, there's this one place that I got to visit a few months back which gave Tagaytay a new light. I've been to Tagaytay several times already and I've only seen Tagaytay that magical and beautiful at Raffi's Way.

Entrance to Raffi's Way |
Raffi's Way is located at Talisay Road in Batangas. Its location is quite secluded and peaceful but rest assured that it is still near various establishments. I actually saw a fast food chain a few meters away from the place. What sets Raffi's Way apart from other accommodations in the area is that it makes your Tagaytay vacation a chic and trendy one.
Stairway to heaven (I kid you not)... |
...where photoshoots are done |
This designer villa may be one pricey accommodation but every detail in it would make you realize why. Each room would literally make you go speechless. There's not one spot in that villa that is not Instagram-able. The moment I stepped inside the villa, I was truly amazed. I was welcomed with a stairway that leads to a living with sun roof. It was absolutely gorgeous!
Living room and dining area |
My favorite part of the living room - the gigantic glass window |
Before we get to the bed rooms, we got to enjoy their majestic living room. This already spacious area is made more spacious by the huge glass window that offers a phenomenal view of their outdoor pool and the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano nearby. Every detail put into this space all went well together - from the neat white walls to each of the wooden furniture and white, brown, and gray accents located therein.
View of Taal from the living area. Btw, electrical outlets are all over the place so you may blast your favorite music through your phone or bluetooth speaker all day long |
Fully equipped kitchen |
Among the amenities located at Raffi's Way, their kitchen was the one I wish we could have used. We did not have much time to cook our dishes anymore, but this could have been perfect to play chef. The white washed walls and counters are dreamy. They also got everything you'll be needing - from utensils to cooking equipment.
My favorite part of the house - the Master Suite |
Bathtub at the Master Suite (petals are optional, but highly recommended) |
I love how there are electrical outlets near the bed. It makes charging phones and cameras easily. And the bed was extremely comfortable! I could stay there all day. |
Vanity and storage area with lots of space |
There are a total of four fully airconditioned bedrooms at Raffi's Way. I got to stay at the Master Suite with Karla. Our room was my favorite among the rooms at Raffi's Way. It has a queen size bed, a bathtub, a toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, double sink, flat screen tv, and (lots of) vanity area. The room also got a huge glass window that offers a breathtaking view. The bathtub was kind of weird to use because it wasn't enclosed, but it was a fun experience nonetheless.
Deluxe Bedroom 1 |
Deluxe Bedroom 2 |
The other rooms at Raffi's Way are quite remarkable as well. They have a family room that has a one queen size bed and two single beds. The other two deluxe rooms each have a queen size bed. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot and cold showers. There are also lots of space for storage and for extra mattresses in case the beds aren't enough. The bedrooms made me wish we could have stayed longer at Raffi's Way.
Dining area and exit to the garden and pool area |
Outdoor pool |
View of Raffi's way from the pool area |
The dining area can accommodate up to 12 people. We rarely used it because we weren't able to cook or take home food anyway, but it would have been lovely to use it when dining with friends or family. The pool area was likewise phenomenal! I wish it wasn't cold and raining nonstop during our visit. I was only able to dip my feet because Tagaytay weather gets quite low when the sun isn't out. Otherwise, we would have fully utilized the pool.
What the Master Suite looks like from the outside |
As I have previously mentioned, a stay at Raffi's way is kind of steep but the view and the accommodation is all worth it! The place is also very secure and there are staff members during the day to assist you with your needs and to make your stay comfortable. The place is perfect not only for a vacation but also for events such as small weddings, birthdays, reunions, family outing, prenuptial pictorials and more.
