Growing up has indeed no hard and fast rules. I still believe that everything is subject to experience. However, it is still nice to get some tips on how to deal with things that are most likely to happen in our lives. There's definitely no harm in hearing out someone who has been there in that situation. And among the many celebrities that people idolize nowadays, I think it is Bianca Gonzalez who is the one that is most worthy to share such tips.
I have always been a fan of Bianca Gonzalez ever since I was in high school. As I have written on my Instagram post, she is one of the few celebrities that I (or any other Pinay) could relate to. I remember reading several magazines wherein she was featured. She'd usually show her vast Converse sneakers collection and would also share her childhood wherein she was teased for her physical appearance, being a morena. I guess it is the challenge that she has to face for being different from the norm that made her stand out.

Bianca has always been a great writer being a blogger and contributor for several newspapers and magazines. I think this project is a dream come true for Bianca and for that I personally am very happy for her. This is likewise very timely for her wedding this December. The success of this book would definitely make this year such a hit for Bianca.

The book "Paano Ba 'To" is a basically a guide on how to survive growing up. As I have browsed the book, I have noticed that this isn't just for teenagers but even for someone who is already in their 20s. It is divided into chapters to address every issue that a person could face while in that stage, such as dealing with friends, family, and relationships. Personally, I like the fashion chapter cause of how practical and feasible the tips are.

The book signing that I attended is one of the two that was held last weekend. I was lucky to be representing the Mommy Bloggers Philippines group at the National Bookstore Trinoma branch. Anyway, if you are looking for a gift to give your daughter, sister, niece, inaanak, friend, or anyone this Christmas, this is definitely a nice thing to share. Not only will you impart entertainment, but also life lessons that will remain with them forever.
XO, Mish
Hello Mish! It was nice meeting you back at Trinoma. I have grabbed a photo from this post (the raffle winners) but don't worry! I placed your blog link below the photo.

I like the design of this book, but I'm not sure if I will buy it. Bianca is skinny she reminds me of Kris Bernal. I actually don't know her years ago >_< It seems wonderful to attend book signing hmmm....
