Quiz Night and Beer Pong at Wingman at The Collective

There's always something new every time Team Aldous celebrates its anniversary. This year, we got to spend it at Wingman at The Collective for a Quiz Night and Beer Pong night. I don't usually get to go out for such activities so it was nice that my first time was with fun people that I usually go to food blog events with.

It was my first time as well to go The Collective and Wingman's branch there really stands out. Wingman is not that spacious but people keep on coming during our visit. The interiors are very manly and the bar is a perfect photo spot.

Food at this sports bar are mainly those that go well with beer such as wings, sandwiches, burger, and sides. I love how uncomplicated their menu is. It only gets difficult when choosing from among the fifteen different flavored wings that they currently offer.

Onion Rings - P150
Garlic Parmesan Curly Twists - P175

Sides were first served during our pre-game dinner. Their homemade onion rings are must try! The crispy coating was flavorful and serving was generous. Fries, on the other hand, are served in classic cut or in curly twists. You can make your fries extra by adding lemon pepper or garlic parmesan to it.

Classic Buffalo
Prairie Fire

A visit at Wingman will never be complete without trying out their wings. There's actually quite a number that must be tried. We were served their bestsellers and I was absolutely impressed. The Classic Buffalo never fails to impress. Their version comes in medium, hot, apocalyptic, and inferno. The Prairie Fire, a variation of their Classic Buffalo, is blended with their house ranch dip. I would say that the said flavor was my favorite!

Honey Garlic
Hellfire

There were also oddly good ones that we were able to try. For those who are not fan of spicy wings, their Garlic Parmesan flavored wings are perfect! They also have Honey Garlic wings for those who are looking for a sweet flavor. And if you are looking for adventure, their Hellfire is the one for you! Spicy, flavorful, and loaded with chili - this one will make you look for a glass of milk. One-half dozen is for only P235 and a dozen (which can be split into two flavors) for P395. Both comes with carrot sticks and ranch dip.

Deep Fried Snickers - P150
Brownie a la Mode - P150

For dessert, we were able to try out their sinfully good offerings. It was the first time that I tried out Deep Fried Snickers and I was quite delighted. The Brownie a la Mode was also a favorite. The brownie was moist and the vanilla ice cream on top was perfect with it.

The highlight of the event was the Quiz Night. We were divided into four groups and another group joined us for the event. Topics were mainly about movies and other general information. I was entirely clueless. We came in last but we had so much fun! By the way, Wingman conducts Quiz Night every Thursday nights at their Acacia Estates, Taguig branch.

Lastly, we had a Beer Pong tournament to end our night. I was teamed up with Cohen and we were able to enter the semis. Not bad for a first timer, I guess! Overall, it was a fun-filled night with new and old friends and it was perfect to have spent the same at Wingman.

Wingman is located at The Collective, Makati and Acacia Estates, Taguig. Don't forget to check out their social media sites:
