Shop Feature: Chicadora

Hello guys! October went by so fast, don't you think? Anyway, let me introduce another awesome online shop before this month end.

Chicadora was created by two lovely ladies and fashion lovers, Iya and Kring, who aspire to be successful entrepreneurs someday. I am really amazed with these girls because they're so business-minded despite their young age. I guess their love for fashion made this work really fun for them. They've been engage in their online shop for almost a year now and they're already on their 16th collection. See how successful they are? These girls are really nice, too! I met up with them one time to discuss some things and since we are all from the north. I really had fun talking with them. :)

With Kring
With Iya! She's a blogger, too! Visit her site at http://iyaboto.blogspot.com

So what type of clothes does Chicadora carry? Of course, only the chicest tops, skirts, and pants! :) Here are my favorites:

Chicadora's latest Collection: The Bandage Glam!
Teal Bandage Skirt - P250
Orange Bandage Skirt - P250
Pink Bandage Skirt - P250

Black Peplum Skirt - P250

Floral Corset Top - P250

Their products are so affordable, yet so stylish! I haven't seen a piece which costed more than P250. And their models are so pretty. =)))

Double Dipped

My sister is amazing with DIYs! She made this shirt by herself. Her hands turned numb after destroying that back part of that shirt. Haha! She also made a dip dyed polo shirt (will blog about that soon). I don't think I'd ever be that creative to make something like this. :p I'd settle for RTWs. Anyway, wore this to school one day. Turns out that our professor won't be able to make it to class. My classmate and I decided to finish our digests instead at Coffee Bean in Gateway.

Our class bought a similar cake (in full size) which we gave to our professor. We weren't able to taste it and we haven't tried Mary Grace cakes before so we had to buy one for ourselves. OMG! The cake is so yummy and moist! If you haven't tried it yet, you should buy one now! By the way, we got a velvet cake and it only costs P230. :)

Hype this look:

Top - DIY
Pants - 168 Mall
Necklace - Churbish Shop
Flats - Tomato
Watch - Swatch

Till next post! :)

Neon and Polka Dots

Hype this look!

The spiked bracelet is not really spiky so I can wear them while carrying Z. :)

It was an Eton Centris Sunday once again. The house needs to be cleaned up so we all had to go out so our helpers could do their thing. We had breakfast at the tiangge and I think I saw my OB but I did not approach her cause I wasn't so sure.  We spent the next few hours at Coffee Bean. I digested some cases while my parents were busy talking to an old friend they met. Z, on the other hand, kept on shouting inside the Coffee Bean so my sisters took him outside and played with him. Simply said, we had a nice family time. I love Sundays! :)

On me:
Dress - SM Department Store
Accessories - Quiapo
Shoes - Scarlet from Zalora

On Z:
Shirt - Carters
Shorts - Baby Gap
Shoes - Chicco

How was your Sunday?

My Style Statement inspired by The Ramp Crossings

Polished in Pink

Polished in Pink

Corso (PINK) | The Ramp Crossings

Darlene (PRINTED VIOLET) The Ramp Crossings

Madison (PEACH) | The Ramp Crossings

Dee (PINK) | The Ramp Crossings

I've never imagined myself wearing corporate attires when I was little. Those black, stuffy, padded blazers are definitely not my thing. Growing up, I was actually a weird girl. I'd pick out my own clothes and wear clothes that would stand out even if I get weird stares from people. I have always hated wearing uniforms because I don’t like wearing the same thing as others. College became a huge relief for me because I could go to school in any outfit that I want.

When I was young, I also wanted to become a host of The Lonely Planet, or become an astronaut, or write story books for kids, or become a fashion designer, or anything unusual. It’s either I get a fun job or I don’t want to become an adult. I saw the adult world as plain and boring. Adults had to do stuff routinely. Go to work, pay the bills, clean the house, do the dishes, etc. Although I realized when I was getting older that becoming an adult is inevitable. I had to become one. But nonetheless, I, too, have realized that being an adult can be also fun and fashionable.

Photo from starpulse.com

As an aspiring lawyer, it is important that I look polished and presentable at all times. Dresses, heels, and most importantly, blazers, are now part of my daily wardrobe. While I like to keep things simple whenever I go to law school, I still make it sure that I incorporate cool and fun stuff like neon accessories or printed pieces. We all know that corporate attires have always been in black or neutral tones. Well, I prefer mine to be in pink. In my opinion, pink is the new black. Corporate world, or any other field, is no longer restricted to men and I don’t want to wear black just because I had to fit in a man’s territory. Women should be empowered and simply themselves. Think Elle Woods.

I am disappointed that most of the stores still do not carry unconventional corporate attires. That’s why I’m thankful I found The Ramp Crossings! All of the pieces in my set (except the bag :p) was from their site. They are truly a one-stop fashion shop. You could get their gorgeous items not only from their stores, but also from their online shop, therampcrossings.com. They carry in their store different clothes, shoes, and accessories that would match any style. If you haven't been to any The Ramp store, you should visit one now. I've been to the branch at Quezon Ave. and there are lots of pretty dresses and other clothes on sale and the shoes are drool-worthy, too!

I may now be an adult now, but I'll always be forever young and girly at heart. Thank God for The Ramp Crossing cause their amazing pieces definitely matched my Polished in Pink style! I bet their items will match your style, too. :)

What's your style statement? :)

Cutie patootie necklace from Churbish Shop! Thanks Joyce!

Yay! I've been wanting to wear this pair of maxi pants my sister bought. She was supposed to use it for her graduation photo shoot, but she can't find anything to pair this with. I actually find it hard to pair this with anything because I have a small body. The pants look weird with a shirt or a tank top on me. Luckily, this corset from Pork Shop worked out with this pair of pants really well.

Anyway, wore this to the mall when I finished my case digest in Persons subject. I actually spend most of my time lately at the mall studying. There are too much distractions for me at home. It's either I'll be sleeping, or playing with Z, or online so I'd rather stay outside. :p I can't wait for final exams to be over so I could blog more and play with Z! :)

Don't forget to hype this look!

Take Two on Tangerine

Hype this look! :)

Just a super duper quick outfit post! :) I wore this to school one Saturday. The weather was so unpredictable so I opt to wear something that I could remove in case it gets hot. It did get hot later that day so I removed the cardigan to make myself feel comfortable. The shoes I'm wearing, by the way, are so cute and cheap! I only got them for 2 for 400 at Tomato! Anyway, this is my take two on wearing tangerine. I rarely wear this color because I feel like this does not go with my skin well. On the contrary, it looks nice on me. :)

What's In My Weekender Bag?

My family and I loves to have a mini vacation every once in a while. We'd book in a hotel for the weekend so we could just relax and have fun. The best part about staying in a hotel is probably being lazy and of course, swimming. So if I'll be given the chance, here's what I'll pack for the weekend:

1. Geometric Print Tote by Suy
  • Would definitely bring this one! It's cute, has a nice print and is very roomy. Even Z's things would fit inside. :)

2. Wanderlust High Waist Bikini
  • This sexy swimsuit would cover up all the battle marks on my tummy and flaunt all the good stuff!

3. Get Laud Talma Dress
  • Pretty, pretty, pretty! It's so gorgeous, I'd wear it to sleep. Haha!

4. Ray-Ban Craft
  • My dream aviators! ♥

5. The Little Things She Needs Chain necklace with pendant
  • This necklace is simple and cute! Perfect for the weekend.

6. Real Pill Sandals
  • Strappy sandals are absolutely perfect for a staycation. They are classy and comfy. :)

Too bad this will have to wait cause law school keeps me busy as a bee. Anyway, all the items featured here are from Zalora.com.ph! It was hard to do a wishlist cause they are offering so much great products in their online store. :p Don't forget to use the discount code MishRendon1 to get 10% on your orders. :)

XO, Mish

P.S. I'll reply to comments after my exams! Please bear with me. :)

Lazy Sundays

Hype this look here!

What I love about Sundays is that I get to spend some time with my family despite our super duper busy schedules. We rarely see each other cause my sisters and I are busy with school while my parents have work. Z stays at home all the time with our ate and kuya at home. I always make sure that I spend some time with him before I go to school cause he's usually already asleep whenever I get home.

Anyway, this particular Sunday, we went to Eton Centris cause it was the nearest place open at that time. We went there at around 5 in the morning after dropping off my sister who participated in the Run for the Pasig River. I actually wanted to join myself, but I wasn't able to register. We had breakfast at Shakeys then we went to the tiangge. We were able to buy some Carters overruns for Z for only P75 per item. We also bought more food cause there are lots of unique and cheap cuisines there. :) I actually took lots of photos but unfortunately, my memory card got corrupted again and these were the only photos I was able to recover.

Sweater - Thrifted
Jeggings - 168 Mall
Bag - Nine West
Necklace - c/o Oasap.com

How do you spend your Sundays? :)
