Have You Bet on the Right Diaper?

Pampers, the world’s leading diaper brand, recently launched the New Pampers Baby Dry: 99.9% Dryness Challenge. During the said challenge held last week at Robinson's Manila, mommies were given a chance to challenge their current diaper and win their baby’s first prizes such as their first play set, first high chair or first stroller. As for me, I did not have a hard time betting on the right diaper! I knew right from the start that Pampers Baby Dry can guarantee 99.9% skin dryness as I've been using it on Zack since its launch last March and we have practically tried all sorts of diapers in the past.

Taking on the challenge was really simple. First of all, mommies age 18 years old and above, residing in the Philippines, and have babies 0-3 years old should register online and bring their current non-Pampers diaper to the event. All that they have to do during the event is to pick the right diaper, undergo the simple test, and see for yourself which diaper provides 99.9% dryness!

Pampers Baby Dry and Brand X are being tested and sampled for the challenge!
Same amount of liquid are simultaneously being poured over both brands.
Pampers Baby Dry have completely absorbed the liquid while there's still a significant amount of liquid over Brand X.
5 lbs. weights were then placed over the diapers.
As I have previously said, see it for yourself! The paper napkin over the Pampers Baby Dry is completely dry while the one over Brand X is significantly soaked!
For mommies who bet on the right diaper, you may claim your awesome prizes from the Love Corner.

I am definitely proud to say that I am one of the mommies who bet on Pampers Baby Dry for this challenge. I've been impressed with its performance ever since. It definitely guarantees dryness especially during the night. It has a slim fit and stretchy tapes that provides comfort. It doesn't become bulky even after a few wettings unlike other brands. And its magic gel can absorb up to 7 wettings!

Mommies from Visayas and Mindanao can also get a chance to challenge their current diaper and win their baby’s first prizes when they register in Ayala Center, Cebu City on December 6, 2015, and Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City on December 15 2015. Guarantee your slot by pre-registering. Visit the Pampers Philippines Facebook page for more details (www.facebook.com/PampersPh).

GMG Construction launches new project in Norzagaray, Bulacan

Socialized housing is a concept not new to me since this was the topic that I chose for my undergraduate thesis, particularly the condition of low cost socialized housing projects in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. From what I have gathered and researched, settlers tend to leave their place of relocation because their jobs aren't there and the shelter granted to them was poorly made. I am extremely glad that one construction company, GMG Construction & Land Development Corporation, has finally decided to address these usual problems when it comes to socialized housing projects by coming up with a new low cost socialize housing project in Norzagaray, Bulacan.

Facade of Proposed Lofted Row Housing

During an event last week at Quezon City, I was one of the first to know about this promising project. The low cost socialized housing project is envisioned by GMG Construction through Socialized Housing Financing Corp of the Philippine government. It is a 12 hectare project that seeks to benefit families living in danger zones of Norzagaray and Manila. The project is currently being coordinated with the local government of Norzagaray, Bulacan.

The initial target number of housing units for Phase 1 and 2 is 2,640. Each lot area is at 26 sqm with structure ground area of 22 sqm and mezzanine/loft area of 11sqm. The project will allot 30% open space which can be used for school building, multi-purpose hall and recreation/amenities like basketball court and playground.

I am absolutely impressed with the proposed plan for the housing project. The design is far from any of the low cost socialized housing projects which I have previously visited. Moreover, the project aims to comply with land development standards such as proper water and power supply and drainage system and to provide community facilities such as covered basketball court/ multi-purpose center, day care center, and tricycle terminal. I am definitely looking forward for this project to finally materialize.

Spooktacular Halloween Party at ActiveFun Fairview Terraces

I've never brought Zack to any Halloween party in the past so we were really excited when we got invited by Active Fun Fairview Terraces and Mommy Bloggers Philippines to attend this year's Spooktacular Halloween Event. We love Active Fun and we have been visiting it regularly ever since it opened last year so it was the perfect place to take Zack for his first Halloween party.

ActiveFun is a tried and trusted brand that aims to promote a one-stop safe and kid-friendly recreational facility advocating exercise in a safe, fun environment and play as a venue to develop several skills of the children. It allows group play encouraging kids to develop social and interpersonal skills as they learn to interact with other kids.

For the first part of the event, we went on a Trick or Treat parade at the lower ground floor of Fairview Terraces. The kids were ecstatic as they were given candies and chocolates as treats. Zack wasn't feeling well so we had to carry him during the trick or treat. Nevertheless, I can see that he is happy as he receives more candies and upon seeing the mascots of ActiveFun.

Btw, Zack's wearing a DIY Chucky costume!

The next part of the event was the Costume Contest. There were 4 categories wherein kids and their families can join - the Spookiest Costume, Cutest Costume, Little Prince and Little Princess Costumes, and Spookiest Family. There were probably more than 50 kids who joined this fun event!
