Luxuriate in Premium Polish at Kitchenails

There's nothing better to cap off a long week than to spend some me time at a nail salon! And to end my week, I paid Kitchenails Trinoma a visit for a much needed mani + pedi session. It's only been a few weeks since I last went there, but I have noticed many changes. Aside from the increase in the number of servers, the "kitchen" now looks complete with that adorable refrigerator containing nail polishes inside. Lastly, I have noticed that they now offer more choices when it comes to nail polish.

Yep, that's a refrigerator.

In my opinion, what sets Kitchenails apart from other nail salons, aside from being a concept nail salon, is their affordability. I was surprised to found out that the Basic color Manicure and Pedicure at Kitchenails cost only P305 (P145 and P160, respectively). These services comes with a soak, cleaning, and polishing of the nails. They currently have a wide selection of L.A. Colors nail polish to go with the basic package.

But more than pampering and relaxing yourself, having your nails done is something you could do to feel glam and fab! Thus, I suggest you treat yourself to an dessert upsize, that is, a premium polish. I was definitely impressed with their premium polish selection as they currently have Orly, Ruby Wing, Morgan Taylor, Zoya, Essie, among others. By availing of premium polishes, you just have to add P60 for Manicure or Pedicure or P100 for both Manicure and Pedicure. And I believe that the upgrade is definitely worth it because of the numerous choices they offer and these are guaranteed to last longer than regular polish.

Anyway, I was able to try out their premium polish during my last visit. The procedure was pretty much like the Chef Specials Hand Spa I tried before but less the scrub, mask, and massage. First off, my feet were soaked in a pan. I still find this interesting and kind of weird because I use a similar looking pan at home lol! After that, my previous nail polish was removed and my nails were buffed to even them out. Cleaning then commenced by using a marinade injection to put on cuticle gel. My nails were trimmed and filed and the cuticles and sides were removed. Lastly, nail polish was applied on my nails. I chose an Orly nail polish for both my hands and feet.

If you curious and want to try out this unique gourmet-style nail salon (I know you do!), better check them out at 3/F Trinoma Mall (near Power Mac Center / Mindanao Parking). They also have a branch at Alabang Town Center for those living in the South. Don't forget to check out their Facebook (www.facebook.com/kitchenails) and Instagram (@kitchenails) accounts.
