The DETOX Mani+Pedi, which was launched during Posh Nails' 13th Year Anniversary, is a pampering package that uses nature-based products that are designed to nourish and moisturize, with a promise to deliver antioxidants that neutralize free radicals in the body caused by stress. According to Pamper Queen Cat Ilacad, "The service is all about wellness, which is something I really value. It uses all Cuccio products that I have personally tried and believe in. The main goal of the service is to offer our clients a wonderful pampering experience where skin in renewed and nails are revitalized. "
During the said anniversary celebration, my blogger friends and I were in for an afternoon of total relaxation. It was indeed a nice mommy break for each and everyone of us. As for me, it was a also great and worth it timeout from studying. Aside from trying out the DETOX Mani and Pedi, we were also treated to a healthy lunch courtesy of Pure Jus and we were able to attend a Love and Light Talk with Life Coach Kimi Lu.

Among the products used for the pedicure sessions are The Extended Massage Lotion and Shea Butter & Tuscan Grapeseed, which combines Shea Butter's intensive moisturizing properties, and Tuscan Grapeseed's antioxidants that neutralize free radicals; Pedicure Callus Softener with Mango & Papain, which contains antioxidant, minerals, proteins, and Vitamins along with natural enzymes to gently exfoliate and reveal radiant, healthy skin; and the Pedicure Cuticle Softener with Pomegranate & Alpha Hydroxy that promises to gently, yet effectively, exfoliate, cleanse, and soften stubborn cuticles with Pomegranate which is rich in antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids to soften tissue and remove unwanted skin cells.
The Detox Manicure products include the Manicure Cuticle Soak with Aronia Berry & Tea Tree which softens, cleanses and refreshes hands and nails with Aronia berries that provide high levels of antioxidants and tea tree that has natural antiseptic qualities; the Manicure Milk & Honey Butter wash with jojoba beads to gently exfoliate skin while leaving it soft, and supple; and the Manicure Extended Massage Lotion with Seabuckthorn & White Tea that offers nourishing, hydrating finish.
The first step in the DETOX Mani was soaking of the nails. Thereafter, it was scrubbed, washed, and mask was then applied. After washing again, the my arms were treated to a relaxing hand massage using the massage lotion. My hands smelled heavenly after the treatment. Lastly, my nails were carefully treated to a manicure. The same procedure was observed with the DETOX Pedi except that it started with a relaxing foot spa.

What I love most about this service is that they use different products for the hands and feet. The scrub for the hands are definitely gentler than the one used for the feet. Also, the products that they use are really the best and definitely not compromised. For their mani and pedis, they only use reputable nail polish brands, such as Opi, Orly, and China Glaze, which are known to last longer and do not chip easily.

As I have previously mentioned, we were treated to a Love and Light talk with Ms. Kimi Lu. Aside from physically relaxing myself through the DETOX Mani and Pedi, it was also nice to be able to relax myself on the inside. We were encouraged to be positive and love ourselves more and to let go of anything the pulls us down or hinders us from growing. It was indeed a very enlightening and inspiring talk for me. I definitely felt entirely relaxed and renewed.
